Dreamforce is looming and you know what that means. Time to grab space early at some fantastic San Francisco restaurants near the Moscone Center. If you are planning to entertain clients, partners, colleagues or your new Salesforce.com friends, we’ve got some great recommendations for you courtesy of our friends at www.EatDrinkLucky.com.
Located about 10 minutes away at 101 Montgomery Street in the Presidio on the Main Post, The Commissary is a Spanish influenced destination for California cuisine that opened 2014.
Just like The Commissary, Pabu Izakaya was voted by Zagat’s as one of the hottest newcomers in San Francisco. There is lots of buzz about this modern, interesting sushi restaurant that opened last year. You can find it on the corner of California and Front streets at 101 California Street.
Twofers on Fillmore. First, this James Beard Foundation semifinalist for 2015, The Progress is a new restaurant located at 1525 Fillmore Street. You can also opt for the almost next door State Bird Provisions by the same owners at 1529 Fillmore Street. State Bird Provisions won a James Beard award this year and in 2013. Both places are fabulous so you can’t go wrong.
Amp it up with the one Michelin star Acquerello located at 1722 Sacramento St. It is a classic and was also a James Beard semifinalist for 2015 for outstanding restaurant.
Don’t be fooled, Bar Tartine is much more than a bar. Foods inspired from around the globe and all made from scratch. Check out their menus and see what you think. Open since 2005, it is located at 561 Valencia Street.
Also on Valencia is Plin. Italian in the Mission District, Plin has rave reviews in addition to a private banquet room if you are looking for more space. Plus this, “Fact: the wine list is full of value, small producers, and kick ass varietals.” Hard to argue with that. They are located at 280 Valencia Street.
All of these restaurants are very popular so beat the Dreamforce crowds and make your reservations now to impress those clients and colleagues!
